Key specs for this cover
Fabric: 420D Oxford fabric
This refers to the denier count of the material. A 420D rating indicates a medium-weight fabric that balances durability with flexibility. You get a cover that resists tearing from branches or rough handling, yet remains soft enough to fold. It is thicker than thin vinyl covers but lighter than heavy canvas. This makes it suitable for frequent use and seasonal storage without adding excessive bulk to your gear.
Water Resistance: Waterproof PU coating
The fabric includes a polyurethane coating that prevents water absorption. This layer blocks rain, snow, and bird droppings from soaking into the boat’s interior or damaging the upholstery. You do not need to apply separate sealants. This coating ensures the cover remains effective during wet weather, protecting your pedal boat from moisture damage while sitting on the dock or in your garage.
Closure: Adjustable buckle straps
The cover uses a system of straps with buckles to secure it tightly. This allows you to customize the tension for a snug fit around the boat’s hull. It prevents the cover from flapping in wind or shifting position. You can tighten or loosen the straps easily. This system is more reliable than simple tie-downs, ensuring the cover stays in place during storms or high winds.
Cover Width: 286*200CM
This dimension specifies the size of the cover material. It is designed to fit Sun Dolphin 5-person pedal boats from 2000 onward. You must verify your boat’s dimensions before purchase to ensure proper coverage. A larger size provides more overhang for better protection but may require longer straps. This specific size targets a common class of pedal boats, offering a tailored fit for that model range.

The listing specifies a 420D Oxford fabric with a waterproof PU coating. This material choice targets reliable protection against rain, snow, dirt, and bird droppings. The fabric is soft and flexible, which allows the cover to conform to the boat’s shape without tearing easily. You get a barrier that resists tree sap and dust accumulation during long-term storage.
